Master Cylinder damaged?

Here are some questions I have for those of you, who are true gear heads...

After assembling my front right two brake lines, they were disconnected due to my CV boot repair, I am having no pressure on my pedal. Here is the background...I did not have the sealing nipples to prevent the fluid from draining, and therefore just let it drain out into a container. After having assembled everything, there was no pressure. The reservoirs are filled again, and I brought the truck to get the air bled out. The mechanics told me that the master cylinder most likely is broken, because it was dry and drained out. Somehow, I do not want to believe that fact. So here are my questions before I spend all the money for a new master cylinder.

What theoretically could happen if I re connected the two brake lines in the wrong order and not where they were connected to?

Where are the brake servos located? I doubt the shop bled them...

Where is the warning valve? The shop did not re set it...

Thank you for any help!

Marcus

I was informed by the Arch Mag-nus of Machines that the brake system isn't quite the same as "normal" trucks. Perhaps he can better illustrate(since i forgot exactly what he said as I was just glad to own a Pinz after he told me).

Hi Marcus,

the warning valve is this one:

Its inside of the left frame over the frontaxle.
Just screw out the plasticscrew where the cable is connected and than back. Nothing else to do.
An other switch is behind the brakepedal. Just pull out the pin.

Here are some more details of the brakesystem:

I donĀ“t think that the mastercylinder is broken.
But after refilling the complete system, you have to bleede the brakeservos by opening the brakelinescews on top of the servo to get the air out. No other chance.

Good luck.

Uli
