Just spent two hours trying to fix my headlights.
I have Jim's schematic.
I do not have power to the headlight breakers.
Breakers are fed by brown wire coming from steering column switch.
No power from brown wire in any key position.
Ft and RR running lights work, all blinkers work, brake lights work.
Could the steering column switch be bad? Does it have anything to do with the headlights?
Hope somebody can help.
Thanks.

Ok, I found the problem. I was testing the ignition switch at the post and I was getting power, but the wire was pulled through so the set screw was only contacting the insulation. Still no power to the breakers.
So the last thing I didn't check was the highbeam foot switch - it was covered with nasty phoney rhino-liner. So I took it apart and cleaned it and finally....there was light!!
Sometimes I'm a little slow
