Can anyone help with any wiring diagrams or direction as to which wire goes where. Can anyone give me a direction as to which wire goes where primarily regarding the dynastart so I can see if it actually works or if it needs an overhaul.

You need to provide some basic info if you wish to get a solution to your concern :shock:
There are several wiring versions, Austrian Military/Civilian, Swiss Military/Civilian, North American(Bug Eye).
I have schematics for all of them, just need the model type to assist you :wink:
Also, it would be wise to add your location to your profile :roll:

Here are the common Dynastarter connections:
#30= Batt wire from solenoid
D+= Red
DF= Yellow
Ground= Black plus 2 woven ground straps from body, If Mil spec the 3 shield grounds are also attached at the same ground bolt(total of 3 to 6 ground wires).
For a quick test, ground the case and put power to the large terminal(#30)
If it spins, it works. If it is loud you will need to change the bearings and or brushes.
Please post location and a picture of your Haflinger :mrgreen:
