Voltage regulator connections

When I bought my Haflinger the engine was removed and all of the wiring was disconnected. I had never laid a wrench on a Haflinger before, so this is all new to me. So far it's been a great experience, mostly due to the help of my buddy Jim LaGuardia.
I'm at the point where it's time to connect the regulator, and I have a wiring diagram, but it's confusing and the wording is not legible (or is it German?). Making the wrong connection here can be costly, so I need the assistance of those in the audience.
From left to right, I see a row of screw-type post connectors. The first is B+, which I assume is battery positive, which a red wire that comes from the starter solenoid post. Next is B-, which I assume is negative, or chassis ground. I have no obvious wire to connect here, so do I run a jumper to the frame or engine? Next id DF, which I assume is the field winding, a yellow wire which connects at the alternator. Next is 61...what is that? Next is D+, which I assume is the positive lead from the alternator, a heavy red wire. Last is D-, which is the braided negative lead from the alternator. Am I right so far? The jumper that is above/left of center is OK as is, I assume? I have a red wire which is in the same jacket as B+, a small #18 or so, not sure where it goes (to 61?). And I have a leftover red wire, duh.
Any help would be appreciated, you can open your engine compartment and write back a PM or post here. No hurry on my part, I'm still waiting on seals from Austria.

I have the voltage regulator connected, thanks to advice from Jim La Guardia. Here's the dash being installed, it's easy to work on with the steering column out of the way. I have another dash plate for sale on EBay if anybody needs one.
I did away with the VW fuses and installed new GM-style fuse blocks.
The turn signal is junk, I'm replacing that with a 60s VW switch. The OEM switch is not available anywhere.

Whenever working on German/Austrian wiring, it is always helpful to have access to the DIN wiring terminal codes. There are many sources for the information. These are just two:

http://www.isham-research.co.uk/quattro ... inals.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_72552

Hope this helps.

Take care.

You are most welcome. Glad to be of help. Do you have any additional photos of your truck? It appears you have done a phenomenal job with the paint and interior. When do you anticipate if will be fully operational?

We had seven Haflingers at the Chappie-Shasta Haflingertreffen in early June of this year and eleven present at NWMF 2010. There is some preliminary location scouting taking place for another Haflingertreffen but this time in the northern California coastal rainforest. It would be great to have an even larger turnout than this year.

Take care.

Here is a sequence of photos taken over the past 6 months showing progress on the Haflinger. My goal today is to get all of the lights working properly and install the new parking brake cable assembly.
