Is there a Pertronix ignition to be found/purchased that will work on a swiss Haflinger? What else needs to be done for it to be converted into a civilian ignition, spark plugs, wire, rotor cap, ...etc

Well, I haven't been able to find a Pertronix yet - but I found out that here in Europe there is an electronic ignition conversion kit that works with the Haflinger and is made by the company LAUBERSHEIMER. Costs here in Europe 80 Euros and has even a build in LED to help you with setting the timing.

The Laubersheimer Ignition seem to work just perfectly. A haflinger owner told me he has been using one for a while and loves the fact that the LED allows setting it perfectly - even while offroading.
He has a complete civilian kit on his Haflinger and had recently mudd in the ignition while offroading. He simply disassembled everything, cleaned everything and put it back together using the build in LED to set the timing again.
Here is the webpage of the company: http://www.laubtec.de/index.html
However, the webpage is only being build hence it is far from being complete.
Since it is in german I'll give you a quick summary. The company specialises in building electronic ignition kits for oldtimers - cars and motorbikes.
