gas cans special size?

My haf did not come with a spare gas can. The harbor freight can does not fit. Do i need to find an authentic can?

A normal sized 20litre jerry can fits.

Standard "NATO" can will fit.

From your latest post, are you looking for fuel cans to fit two 1972 Haflingers or are you looking to buy two 1972 Haflinger trucks?

In addition to other shortcomings most, if not all, of the inexpensive (China) NATO-style fuel cans do not have seams recessed to the same tolerances of Wavian and Valpro cans. For this reason they don't fit in many NATO can carriers, including those found under Haflingers and Pinzgauers. So yes, you need to fit an authentic Wavian or Valpro fuel can.

I appreciate that this is an older thread, but it seems the question was never directly answered and might be of use to someone in the future.
