3x3 Hafi owner wanted

Post by poigner »

On one of your Hafi-Tours I saw this foto when a 3x3 Hafi was driven.

I would like to know how he made the technical changes? Can anyone tell me his name and contact address?

Look on U-tube and you will see it in action. There have been several attempts by various people at producing a 6 wheel Haflinger including the factory. I gather they made 2 or 3 but one appears to have survived sitting in a museum.

Hey,

first of all, I'd rather call it a 6x6 Haflinger...
The factory never produced any 6x6 Haflingers, all which are around (even 8x8 in Indonesia) are self-made. Even the one that looks very "original" and which spent some years in USA was built in the 80s, when the production of the Haflinger had long been ceased. However it is true that the enthusiast who built it was working as an engineer for SDP then. The vehicle is now back in Austria, see e.g.
