How do the original SEV Marchal green, red, black regulator wires relate to the Tatanka replacement regulator terminals Df, D+, D-. I got an extra three years out of the original regulator by hitting it with a heavy object every time it stopped working but even that fails me now.
Thanks

Many thanks. That's easy enough even for me to understand!

To be clear, are you running a 12V or a 24V system. The replacement VR that Tatanka Parts sells for the 24V system has a three wire pigtail. The 12V unit (that I have zero familiarity with) must have some sort of blade terminals as well.

Jim, Sorry I was away for awhile. The truck is basically a stock TGB 11 with the original 24 volt electrics. I did upgrade the ignition with a 123 distributor. I got the 24 volt one from Sweden not the 12 volt. Yes I'm using the Tatanka replacement regulator with the three blade plug. All the wires are black but with the help I received I got it installed today. Decided to leave it up beside back of the passenger seat like the old one. Works great. The red light doesn't flash on and off all the time!! Finished that and started to loosen up all the bolts on the fuel tank so I can dump that and switch to the stainless one I got from Tatanka. One thing at a time. Never stops. Keeps me sane.
