oak rub rail dimensions

The PO removed the rub rails on my C303, and did body work over the bolt holes. He used a piece of thin wooden lath to replace the one on the rear tub.

My dad has a friend who makes furniture, and is going to try to make some out of white oak.

I know the guys who have replaced these tend to go a bit thicker, which is ok by me.

Can anybody out there take some measurements for me so I can have a full set of new rubrails made up ?

thanks in advance,

Rick

I had a set made for my 712 out of Buffalo, angles and all. Have a mill lined up?

Dad's friend is a furniture maker & has some appropriate red oak &white oak pieces ready to shape. Where did you have yours milled ?
