Electric cooling fan

I'm looking for input regarding changing the TGB radiator cooling to an electric set up. The truck is still 24 volt.

It would be simple to install a pusher fan but everything I read recommends a puller behind the radiator. Since the access is minimal at best, is the best course of action to pull the radiator, mount a shroud and fan to it and install the whole thing back as one unit?

Next question - It seems like a temperature probe in the coolant would be most reliable for control. Do the probes inserted through the radiator fins really work?

Does anyone have pictures of a working electric installation?

I've already researched everything I can find on the site about reliability and carrying spares etc. and respect all of those opinions.

I have a puller fan on a custom shroud. I have made a few for c303’s. They have all worked well. Mine is based on a volvo 740 fan.

Dokatd- do you power the fan via the 24v battery bank ?

I ran the fan on the low speed line with 24V and it works fine long term (many miles and hours logged). It runs roughly equivalent to the high speed at 12V. However currently I have this same fan on a Unimog and Volvo and both are running off a 12V now. A 30A converter is needed at minimum. My Volvo is now all 12V due to the Cummins conversion and the mog is using a Cooper Bussman 100A converter.
