Insane price, great engineering but really makes a G a lot wider (good and bad for me)

Seems inspired from the G-class 4x4^2 portal axles... which means you can get the portal axles without having to cough up the price difference for the 500hp turbocharged V8, the leather interior, the Bose (or is it Bang-Olufsen?) 19-or-so speakers stereo or the light alloy rims... not such a bad deal seen like this...

The factory G-wagen portals axles are the "LeTech" version I was told. Look good but I would rather have a Pinzgauer myself. Can't imagine using the portal axle capabilities in a $300K vehicle!
There is a guy on the Expedition Portal website who put a set on his G-wagen camper - its pretty sweet!
