Sherp Amphibious ATV

Post by Haf-e »

There was a posting of two of the "SHERP" vehicles on a flatbed trailer at a Walmart in Idaho - they were labeled with "www.sherp.ca" - apparently they are starting to be offered here in North America. Very impressive vehicle - although also extremely capable of causing environmental damage too... hard to tread lightly in a rig like this!

If you haven't seen any of the youtube videos of this vehicle its worth watching for a few minutes

Wonder if one of these could cross the Darien Gap unaided - might have enough fuel capability with 75 gallons - good for about 100 hours of operation.

Interesting that they don't seem of include any recovery attachment points - perhaps because they don't get stuck?

Who's going to be able to go in after them?
