The trip they did all those years ago was a real feat of endurance. The vehicles they used were the then top of the range Short Wheel Base Station Wagons - very expensive and now exceptionally rare. Just so happens that I have one that will require complete restoration.
It is great to see this old vehicle being recovered and rebuilt.
