In case anyone has lots of money to burn, I know where this is sitting for only $30K. Nice, but, damn.

It is beautiful in a strange way.....and probably another ideal vehicle for where I live......but no..I'm still saving up for a UAZ patriot Diesel.

FJs are on the top 5 list this year for investment vehicles. They are believed to keep climbing in value and top the 100k mark.

Thats because there are so few of them left as they rust away before your very eyes - even in a country like Aust that does not put salt on the roads.westernair wrote:FJs are on the top 5 list this year for investment vehicles. They are believed to keep climbing in value and top the 100k mark.
Even here, where they were quite common, they are starting to become valuable - particularly the diesel variants.

Re: Cruiser pick-up
Takes me back a bit. I use to own a 1969 petrol 3 speed model like this as my first car back in 1980. Tough old trucks that could handle the Australian outback. Still doesn't mean you can't brake them or get them stuck though. Mine only cost me about $1500.
