Gear ratio's

Post by NM_Mogman »

Hello everyone. Been a long time since I have been on here. I hope everyone is doing well.

I am trying to track down some gearing info for a friend and was hopeful someone here can help out. He is looking for the transfer case, transmission, and portal gear ratios. I must be out of touch as I can only seem to find the info regarding the 710/712's. Sorry if this seems a silly question.

Regards,
Phil

You can find the information you are looking for here: http://www.ozpinz.com/
That's Prof. Pinz's WEB site BTW.

If you haven't found the info yet, the SDP specs:
Portal 2.231
differential 2.81
Transfer case 1.061 / 2.452
Auto trans / Manual trans
1st 2.48 / 4.25
2nd 1.48 / 2.505
3rd 1.00 / 1.48
4th .73 / 1.0
5th ---- / .747
Rev 2.09 / 4.03

I have another ATL brochure with gearing for a 5 speed auto trans... the thing is, they never made a Pinz with a 5 speed auto.  . They also listed the manual trans, but also never made a Pinz with one
.
The Trojan Horse... the 1st Pinz used to covertly carry troops into battle .
