TD trans capacity

Post by M Wehrman »

Well I looked for obvious postings for this info and I know I read it on the forum. I also know I may get the evil eye  from Dunn for not looking . :( I also figure Eric will find it and put in a link,as he has an uncanny way of finding this stuff, kinda like the Real forum's bloodhound :D I'm only blind in one eye, just can't see out of the other.....

Welllllllllll, if you go by TD manual... it takes 7.0l, including the oil filter. BUT , I don't think you're talking about an autobox.
The manual gearbox takes 2.0l.... and if that is any different than the standard 710/12 trans, I'd be shocked  ... it's the same case. Of course it could hold more oil if tilted to the left, than the right :?

Vince, insert Big cyclop eye here X
