Hi, my mate has just purchased a 718 ex Raf ambulance pinzgauer. It has the 2.5 five cylinder engine. Does anyone know if you can get a wiring diagram for this vehicle. The plan is to remove all the excess wiring (blue lights etc) ready for a motorhome conversion.
Thanks
Lee

Re: 718 ambulance
In this thread is the only electrical diagram for the 2.5TDI Pinzes (aka Euro 3) I have ever been able to get.

It's for a standard 718 without many details. Unfortunately, my exposure to the TDI is my LHD 718K made as a North American demonstrator. I don't know anything of the ambulance specific wiring.
Post pictures here of anything you have questions on. The TDI's have a power distribution box (PDB) behind the left seat and ABS module and 24 to 12v charger behind the left door on the outboard wall, behind a sheetmetal guard.

Re: 718 ambulance
Thank you for the reply, I will take some images of the additional electrical components. There are many chargers and converters (24v to 12v) that are for the leisure battery. I just want to simplfly things.
Cheers
