Phil,
I like the rope dangling in front. Is that so your wife can hang you when she finds out how much the project costs?

Mike: You know that you REALLY need all three additions! The beauty of military truck acquisitions/projects is that 99.9 out of 100 times he significant other doesn't have any accurate idea as to the $$$ involved.
Tip 1) Do not have a joint checking account!
Tip 2) Always discount your actual costs by at least 50-75%!
Tip 3) Decide if the truck(s)/projects give you more pleasure than your significant other.
Tip 4) Ask yourself why the Hell you ever got involved with the significant other and make a choice!
Tip 5) If none of these work, sell your truck(s) , buy a minivan and become a solid citizen!
In my experience, the relationship with the significant other will generally survive whemn we make "STUPID" decisions. Hoqwever, it will probably be a bit chilly between the sheets for a while!
Next I need to convince my wife that I really need an M119A 105MM Light Artillery Gun and a halftrack. HOpe my tips hold up to the challange!

I was already envious of you Pinz but the Haflingers really put me over the edge.
Phil
Tip 1 and 2) have my own business so no problem there
Tip 3) Trucks without a doubt especially considering 20+ years with sig other
Tip 4) I got involved with wife when I had a Jeep (I was young and dumb)
Tip 5) My minivan (Dodge Durango) is lifted and has larger tires and the Astro Van (hers) is AWD (not yet lifted)
I guess so far she has excused most of my "STUPID" decission so I keep her around and besides she likes the Pinz
