24 Volt Headlight bulbs

Post by Hawkeye Pinz »

The bulb in one of my headlights recently burnt out :x . Can replacement bulbs be found at Auto Zone or NAPA stores? Thanks.

Unfortunately no.

These are a bit difficult to get in 12v versions, 24v derivatives are like parrots teeth to find in a parts store.
We get them from WURTH, a high end importer of Euro parts like 7mm & 5mm hose, Glemo hose clamps, and yes funky 24v bulbs. (at least that's how most parts outlets see them)

Try to see if there's a Wurth distributer near you, those bulbs (Genuine not Indian copies) are between $17,50 to $22 a pop depending upon who you try.

I got new ones at a local light bulb store. "Have lights will travel" They had the halogens for like $ 9.00 each if I remember correctly.

The stock bulbs can be ordered through any Hella distributor. Before I swapped to Scott's Halogen set-up I got mine from Lighthouse.

I do not like this word "bomb." It is not a bomb. It is a device that is exploding. Jacques le Blanc
