4500 RPM Module

I have had my Pinz for about a year now and never had the overspeed module provide a lighted indication on start up or while driving. I located a used module, installed it and now the reverse is true. The light came on when I turned the key in the ignition (YEA - Its finally working) but now the light wil not go off while the motor is running.

Any ideas? Bad module? ground fault somewhere? Where does the popwer and or signals come from to beginning checking this. Help. Anyone ever repair a module?
