LUG NUT TORQUE

Post by stevo »

Am a newbie here, perhaps someone can help me out. Am unable to find any info on the proper lug nut torque for the Pinzie. Thanks, Stevo.

Just another unique feature of the Pinz.

The lug nuts should be torqued with the wheel off of the ground (yes, still in the air). The centering of the wheel is lug centric, not hub centric.

I always spin the tire to center it while hand tightening the lug nuts in sequence. Once the tire is back on the ground, I tighten to 65 ft/lbs in sequence, then 95. After a few miles I tighten again to 95. Never had a problem and the Pinz rides OK.
