Spring compression tool

Post by t-bone80 »

Does anyone have a copy of the CAD drawing for the spring compression tool? I did a search on changing out the springs, learned a lot and saw a post that talked about this CAD drawing but I can not find it. I sure would like to get a copy of it…

tbone,

I don't have an original Steyr tool, with which to provide you the exact dimensions. Nor can I give you cad dimensions. But I just had a working tool built.

If you'd like an actual tracing of the tool which I had built, together with the various measurements involved, full scale, mailed via US Post Office, let me know. (Sorry but I'm pretty old school.)

The threaded rods and nuts came from McMaster Carr. The steel plate is everyday stuff. The hooks I had made locally.
