what is an autoejector? sounds like something i could use. where do you get one?

Its a shoreline (male) that pops out the receptical cord end when you fire up so you dont tear it out! I pulled cords out of both of my ambulances before - the van ambulace more than once and never had any bad damage to speak of.

Auto Eject plugs

I've put Kussmul auto eject plugs into fire apparatus for years. Two things....they are expensive for what they do and when they fail, it can result in body damage as they are set into the body panel to proovide a smoother finish. I think the concept of driving away and leaving a $50 cord in the campground is very possible. Better to have a "pre-flight checklist" before camp departure.
