Insulation

Post by texas pinzgauer »

Erik came up with this idea. I don't know if it's going to help from a sound deadening and or temperature abatement stand point but I thought it was worth a try.

This is 1" X 5' X 9' polyurethane foam. Each sheet was about $45.

My guess is it will help with both. Looks very good. Kudos to Erik. I may have to try this fix in the winter instead of the Goodwill quilt I have been using.

I also tried the quilt but it kept getting loose then I got a throw rug at WalMart (5x8) in green and it seems to stay in place better. Does help with tightening the top.
