WTB - Pinzgauer 710

Post by Tom Santoli »

I'm interested in finding a Pinzgauer 710 M or K in mechanically sound condition; I have a Land Rover Series III that i'd consider in a partial trade.

I've had a few older Unimogs and Land Rovers but have always been impressed by the Pinzgauer and I missed my chance to buy one in NY 15 years ago.

Does anyone on the east coast import these?

Thanks for any direction;

Tom

Thanks for the responses.

Audiocontr, I'll send a few photos soon, it's a 1978 RHD Series III SWB that was diesel but has been converted to gas.

The truck has worked most of it's life and has the 'patina' to show for it but it's in good mechanical condition and the chassis has been replaced with a galvanized chassis, the truck has a Fairey overdrive and the suspension (springs and shocks) have been replaced.

How long have you owned the 712? Where did you buy it?

Thanks;

Tom

Audiocontr;

Land Rover picture attached, I was unable to attach to a PM.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have looked at a couple 710s and hope to go back and drive one in San Diego.
