1974 Pinzgauer 710M

Post by khansmith »

Hi all,
I was planning on selling my Pinzgauer next spring on eBay but thought I would do a pre-sale here first to see if anyone would bite this fall. I am located in Ridgewood, NJ and no, I didn't drive it on salted roads during winter...garage kept.

I bought this great little truck back in 2012. Engine, drivetrain, etc all working great! Since owning it, I have invested a decent amount of cash into it:

1.) Electronic Ignition Upgrade: this was my favorite/best upgrade of all. It is a solid state ignition system from Pinz SSI http://www.pinzssi.com This dramatically changed the running characteristics of the vehicle. Pulls like a freight train and idles very smooth and made start ups much easier.

2.) Stainless Steel Gas Tank: Pinzgauer trucks often suffer from “the red death” which is the delamination of the gas tank liner. My original tank was experiencing this same deterioration so I upgraded to a stainless steel tank. No more read death!

3.) Paint: I did a full sand down on the roll “bars” and had the exterior painted, refinished the side rub rails, painted bumpers, grill, etc.

5.) Custom insulated top: I had Tuff River Stuff create both a cab and full-length top with zip window covers, etc. This top is top of the line! It cost $3,600! You can check out their products here: http://www.tuffriverstuff.com/custom-ve ... nd-covers/

6.) BFG All-Terrain Tires: I have 5 new BFG’s mounted with about 100 miles on them.

7.) Hula Girl Navigation: Never be lost again!

8.) E-Track Cargo/Seat Belt System: I have installed an E-Track system in the back complete with seat belts and cargo straps.

I am asking $17,000 or Best Offer

I will entertain full/partial trades (either your vehicle plus cash or my vehicle plus cash from me depending on vehicle condition, etc) for the following vehicles:

LandRover Series 2 or 3
Defender 90
Defender 110
LC FJ40
First Gen Bronco

Welcome questions and inspections.
