Volvo C306

Post by bdelaporte »

I recently bought a couple more toys (projects) so this has to go. It is a C306 TGB21 built in 1975. It has a clear Florida title. No rot, 26k miles on the odometer. There is a new 9.5 Talon Superwinch and HD bumpers front and rear. The seats could use a recover, otherwise all is in good shape. New fluids (synthetic) within the last couple months.

Runs and drives great. It has new Yellowtops (batteries) and starts very quickly. Brakes work great.no issues driving it anywhere. Top speed is around 55 but I do have a brand new set of ring and pinion gear to make them fast axles.

We recently bought a 406 Unimog and a 64 D300 1 Ton Dodge Powerwagon. I barely have time to drive 1 nevermind 3. So the Volvo is being sold. It's not listed anywhere else right now. If there isn't any interest on the forum, I'll go another route.

Asking $18k OBO

Most of you are aware of the specs, let me know if you need any other info.

Email me at bdelaporte@yahoo.com or text is best at 813-417-1923 as I don the always have access to my cell during work hours (military).

The truck is located in Cheyenne WY.

Thanks Bruce

Looks like a great deal when you consider what the cost is for three ring-n-pinion sets for these trucks that is included in the price! (at least I think he is including them???)

Yes,! The 3 sets of ring/pinions are included in the sale, along with a full set of chains and the new winch. I am just looking to get my cash back out of he vehicle.

BTW, I had this online about 8 months ago and a couple guys didn't like the crew box on the back. It's a very easy modification to cut it off so that you have the full 13'+ bed with drop down sides through the entire length. I have placed it online at expedition portal also as this setup would make a nice camper platform also. I can possibly assist with transport in the Western US if needed. Thanks

I think the crew box is a plus. Especially if you want to have function and comfort in a mild expedition vehicle.

I am not sure as they were on the truck when I purchase it. I can take a closer look to see if there are markings when I get home if you want.

No marks on the mirrors. Another forum member thinks they came from a late 90s Jeep Wrangler. They work well with the truck.

Thanks. Anything "Jeep" tends to give me a rash or catch on fire if I touch it but nice find anyway. 8)

Any forum interest before I list on flea-bay and CL? Sorry, I can't sell the mirrors separate ;).

It's a good running/driving truck. It's a little larger than the C304 series, but definitely has the additional capabilities that go with it. Nice 5 speed gearbox and fast gears also.

Open to offers or input... Thanks
