BMW engine??? Doesn't look like it is...
Nice truck but an odd color. Also wonder what the "custom" rims are from? Not seen any like that. Wonder if the third light on the front is enclosed behind or if it is open? Would make it pretty cold in winter if it was.
I've considered adding wood rub rails on my haffy as well - nice to see what it would look like.

Definitely a Steyr Puch engine even if it is a Puch 500 or Invalid carriage and not an original Haflinger engine. Rims look like Alfa Romeo ones, but could be any of the European 98 x 4 rims...
The extra light is in the Haflinger army blackout light hole so it has a cover on the inside so no hole all the way through. Rub rails make it wider so you would have to work out the width for going through narrow gaps - but you have to do that anyway.

Yes but still likely way over priced!audiocontr wrote:It's thilo's
If it was all original and fully restored then that would be different (to me)

The engine and and the ancillaries are correct for a Swiss Haffy of that era.

There are the holes for the rifle holders in the passenger grab bar - so it seems to be a military one proobably Swiss.
The headlight protection bars look unusual - are they from a Pinzgauer? Maybe slightly reduced in size?
Still looks like it is a nice condition haflinger - just not original.

There is no doubt it's a Swiss army Haffy. Other than the paint job, the non stock 3rd lamp ( normally a blackout lamp), and the rub rails, the rest is original... Like the Pinzgauer, the Swiss Haffies were ordered to their specs.
My '63 Haffy came straight from Thun, and the above mentioned items are the only things unique

I like the peek a boo Pinz in the back. Kinda like something out of a cartoon.
