Wheel Adapters for Sprinter Wheels - $250 shipped

Post by Haf-e »

Up for sale is a set of four custom made 1" / 25mm thick wheel spacer/adapters for the use with a 710M Pinzgauer to allow use of the 2002-2006 Sprinter 16 inch steel or alloy rims with a 5x130mm bolt circle and a 84mm centerbore. These are the correct "hub-centric" type for the Sprinter wheels and include special lug nuts for the stock wheel studs of the Pinzgauer.

The sprinter rims have the same backspacing (ET75) as the stock Pinzgauer rims but are only 6 inches wide (compared to 6.5" for the stock Pinzgauer wheels). With the sprinter wheels installed - the outside edge of the wheels are 3/4" farther out on each side - perfect spacing for running a 33" tire as it doesn't result in any wheel scrub when turning. I've decided to go with a slightly wider spacer as I will be running 34 inch tires - so these very lightly used ones are available.

The Sprinter wheels are easy to find on ebay or craigslist for $50 to $75 each. The advantage of them is they have the "safety bead" so the tire stays on at low pressures. They also look extremely similar to the TD Pinzgauer wheels - giving an updated look. Would be great option to consider for a second set of tires for winter, etc. The sprinter wheels also allow you to use the g-wagen "PUCH" center caps for a finished look.

The adapters where made in the USA by a professional adapter company and are serialized. They cost me $300 for the set. Also included is a full set + 2 spares of the Sprinter lug bolts (which are typically about $2.50 each) so that is another $55 in value. These lug nuts are specifically for the steel wheels - I think longer ones are required for the alloy sprinter rims.

These adapters are in new condition with just mounting scratches - They have not been used other than test fitting them.

Looking for $250 for the set of four + lug nuts shipped.

(Does not include the Puch wheel caps are $14.50 each and available from Euro-Truck Importers:
