WTB: Brake fluid reservoir complete or caps

Gents

I'm looking for the caps that screws onto the brake reservoirs, left, below the steering wheel,
I have a 76 K, and one cap has split. It's being kept together with high temp silicone tape for now.

If you happen to have any, or know where I can get some, please let me know.
I'm also sooking for the sealing o-rings.

Thx

Coenraad

I had a split cap on my 710K reservoir. I squeezed it together then applied a
thick layer of RTV around it. Molded to the cap pretty well. I replaced it as
I got sick of looking at it. If you can't find any O-rings from the usual source,
I have had good luck finding hard to source Metric seals/rings from here.
https://www.metricsealsinc.com/ You will just need to know
the material needed and the I.D. and diameter of the O-ring.

Thanks. Will definitely try the o ring source.
EI does not have any related parts.
Mine is split as well.
Push comes to shove, I'll use some alumilite to cast a ring around it.

Cheers

Assume you tried SAV?

Yes, waiting for response.
I cast an alumilite reinforcing ring today that keeps the split cap together. Buys me some time.

When flushing my brakes this week, discovered I also have this issue, cracked left cap... Appreciate the tips to patch, any luck on finding a source or how to replace those smaller caps?

Check this one out, it looks spot on but confirm its right by pt#. Same seller has a whole list of FAG/FTE brake caps and reservoirs. Vince might be able to give measurements of a G460 master cyl cap to confirm if they are the same as the pinz.

Or perhaps this one could be fitted with the pinz sender

A search by FAG/FTE part# should give results...maybe early VW, Porsche or Benz. If it were me in Australia needing this part I would go to a brake specialist workshop and machinist ( Truck drum machining) and give them the FAG/FTE Part#, I've sourced some of the pinz master cyl and slave cyl rebuild kits this way.

So Steyr used quite a few different reservoir versions over the years. My late model 712 (85) has one that is completely different to those pictured. For one the senders are mounted through the centre of the caps, like the one in the above link.

A - looks closest to mine, but I need to get my hands on the truck to be sure.

I'll send a PM.
