There is rust below the windshield and a new cab may be a better solution than repairing it. Anyone here have one for sale?

FastJoh,
You are now the sixth person I know in the US who would like to replace their non-AluZn cab/body with the less rusty AluZn version. Your very best bet is to contact Claes/Sofia at Tatanka and others in Sweden. Over the past two decades, I have seen some pretty amazing repairs made on some very tired and rusty TGB trucks. Not ithe instant gratificaton of replacing old parts with new but certainly a viable option.
Where are you located?
Take care.

Hi, Jim,
Yes, I almost bought the most recent Aluzink can they Tatanka had for sale but missed it!
They’re looking for one for me now, I hope.
I may just bring a whole truck over for parts if I can’t sort this out another way.

FastJoh,
We are neighbors...of sorts.
Nice to know of another TGB that managed licensure in California. Jed Wilson (I think in Santa Cruz) had his 1975 non-AluZn TGB11 for sale recently. Volvo TGBs registered in your state seem to be a very rare breed.
Do you have an internet location with more photos of your truck available for review? We current have two TGB1314A trucks and one AluZn TGB11. I am always interested in seeing what modifications others have made to their TGB131X 6x6 trucks.
Best wishes for a successful search for an AluZn cab.
Take care.
