Volvo B30
Volvo B30
Need to get this engine out of the drive way. Engine should be in good shape but I can perform a compression test on it before sale. Ended up having a ton of water in my fuel and pulled this engine mostly because I wanted to swap in a different engine.
Engine will come with most if not all parts needed for fuel injection if we can come to a reasonable deal. Engine will have to be picked up in Dallas, TX.

Joeri,
I believe that is the motor he removed from his TGB truck.

That’s correct, it came out of my C303. Last time I borescoped the cylinders it still had hatch marks on the cylinder walls from its last build.
And Jim, I have a box that I started for collecting up all the misc pieces I have so you can have your pick of the liter. Just need a bit more time to get everything collected.

So its a B30A...
The B30E is the one that had the injection system on it , dont know if the cylinderhead is different but my brother in law had a c303 with the injection system on it ....he changed the head. I think it came out the volvo 164

Re: Volvo B30
Can you post any photos os the passenger side of your motor?
It appears you have the divorced aluminum intake with the separate cast pair of exhaust manifolds. Is that correct?
Thank you for collecting the miscellaneous parts. Take whatever time you need.

Re: Volvo B30
I go out and hand turn this engine every 2 weeks. Eventually I’m going to start neglecting it.
Maybe I should do a full restoration on it and sell it for a premium?
