Due to the new Colorado laws, it has become unrealistic for me to keep my Pinzgauer 712M and I am moving on to other projects. It is a 1975 Steyr Puch Pinzgauer 712M with seven almost new Toyo open country MT tires. It is in overall good condition with excellent mechanicals. The oil was changed a couple hundred miles ago and the leaky fan belt pulley seal was changed as well. The oil pan seal seeps a little oil and could use a new one and the gear oil still needs changing. There is surface rust here and there but overall it is in great condition! This is one of the units that was owned and imported by Jake Raby and I have attached an old listing of his for more information and pictures. 1975 Pinzgauer 712M-Colorado $25,000

I hesitate to ask what these new Colorado laws are, but as a Californian I can guess. Sorry to hear this.

Great looking Pinz! And yes, I am going to ask. What are the new laws that would force one to part with it? Sorry if this is a thread hijack.

Hey air2air. Sorry, I don't check the replies to my post as much as I should! Anyways, it's SB19-054. Concerning the regulation of surplus military vehicles for the purposes of operation on the highway, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.
Basically states that they can't be registered for on-road use anymore. I don't believe it applies to foreign vehicles but it's worded pretty poorly and the local DMVs like to interpret in their own ways.
