Jeremy,

Thanks for the information and additional up close photo. I don't think I have ever seen a license plate light exactly like the one on your truck.

As far as US parts sources, you might want to try the following:

Expedition Imports
Swiss Army Vehicles
EuroTruck Importers
Dermot Harvey (on the Haflinger Yahoo Groups forum)

Outside the US, good sources are:

Haflinger Technik
Robert Prokschi
Autoquariat

as well as others.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Hello,

That number plate light is not original... there should be two original lights just above the rear engine door, inside the body cross member.

The Haflinger looks very nice and very original, congratulations!

Best Regards,

Congrats on getting a great looking Haf at an exceptionally good price! You'll get a lot of enjoyment from this truck. I noticed that a previous owner has installed a home-made muffler set up. I recommend putting a new correct muffler high on your list of "To Do's". They are reasonably priced at Haflinger Technique or available on eBay.de and will save you a lot of fooling around and modifying things that are better left original. I can help you anytime you need to find original parts sources.
Cheers,
Steve
