Tinted glass for 710/12s

Post by David Dunn »

Still have a few sets of tinted glass for the 710/12s

Windshields $155 picked up only, no shipping

Front door glass (4 pieces) $226 plus shipping
"K" side/rear doors (5 pieces) $244 plus shipping

And for those that like the original clear glass  , I can make up sets of them too.

For those that are new to the site and have not seen David's glass you will be greatly impressed not only with the quality of the product but also with the special packaging he has had made to ship them.
I have all my side glass replaced with the tinted sets he sells and would also have a front windshield if we lived close enough for me to piick one up.

Can one of you post pictures of the side glass so others can see it installed?

Generally it's can be difficult to tell clear from (legal) tint. With the right light or looking through several layers, it can looks too dark
All my glass is DOT labeled and approved for North America
Solex is the only tint that is legal in the front doors and forward.

Read this... I really need to put this glass post and one other in the tech section so I don't need to go through this every other year.

I had glass like that installed on the Iltis. Great stuff. Nice greenish tint. Helped that the Speedy Auto glass Manager owned two Iltis and had all the dimensions for cutting.

Actually, Solex is blue/green, and is the tint that meets the DOT spec that can be made by a glass shop for AS1 and AS2. Car manufacturer have had some special bent glass made that they have had certified, but nothing for the flat glass.
