Agreed about the cup holder.
I make cup holders for all my older trucks and VW's. I already a great set in my Pinz and Hafi already. But that idea is a nice one One that would work for both types of trucks. I will play with making one once I finsh the EFI install and the rear bumper.

Ralph Nader would love the lack of roll over protection.

Well I am no expert as I don't even own a pinz (yet  ) butI can see that along with the nice cup holder he seemed to make some additional mods to get it to fit so it may be a harder 'add' then it looks!
Must have been a tall fella

Good catch...I just noticed that. It looks like it was used to shuttle hunters around a whitetail ranch.

Is that how they hunt in Texas?? On private ranches? I just open my back door!

I thought in Texas they drove around at night and shined their headlights on them so they could get an easy shot...
JK Texas Flame suite on.

I do remember that there was a company out of Texas that was doing these "raised" mods. They also raised the roof on, well the ones with tops.

Considering this was a K, it was probably a super easy mod outside of the cab.

I've had two cup holders in this exact location for years - it works well -except - it blocks the the labels for the high/low gear shifter and the tranny shift pattern - which isn't a big issue for me but is when I let someone else drive the truck.

I also have a GPS mounted on top of the wiper motor bracket - which also works well -except- you need to be really careful that the cord for the GPS doesn't get tangled up in the wiper motor drive - I destroyed both the GPS cable and a wiper motor gear that way... I've often considered making a cover for the wiper drivetrain live I seen on some of the later pinzgauers.
