That depends on how long it has been in the country and when it was driven. For a 40 year old truck, mine is amazingly low on rust....I cannot say rust free...but not a lot.

I'm originally from good ol buffalo ny and spend my summers in Ontario. Actually stopped and said hello to Stiffler one day (saw a pinz in a driveway and stopped). I'd be soooo nervous to drive my truck after September or before May due to the salt.

Absolutely!

I took my truck for a 10K run early this year...roads were clear but still had some white "dust" on the road....truck was covered and rust started immediately. Sprayed it all down.

Ya no salt driving for me. Luckily I still have factory undercoat in great shape, but would not risk any post salt treated road driving. It's actually torture to leave the truck garaged but worth it come spring. Like a new toy every year!!!

Looks like it sold for $3000 for parts
Not a bad deal as i am sure you can easily get that in parts and spares (engine etc) but many will be Very rusty
Anyone here pick it up?
