Not to sure what this picture is.
Is it to demonstrate how much drugs can be smuggled in a 710?

Ballast, when using a hot air balloon to carry your Pinzgauer across a deep canyon you can discard bags as necessary if you notice yourself descending prematurely.
If you run out of bags to jettison you may then start tossing unneeded passengers.
On a more serious note, some find the 710’s to be very light in the rear, not something you would experience in your 712.

I have a brother in law who seems a little light in the loafers.... same thing? On a more serious note, some find the 710’s to be very light in the rear, not something you would experience in your 712.
My mother in law rides in the back, so I need the extra axle. I'd loan her out to any 710 owner who
needs ballast.
Seriously, I drove a 710 and felt like the rear would pass me on a stop, that's why I got a 712. Felt like a sports car in comparison on the corners.
There was one guy on this site years ago
who made a compartment under the rear floor of his 710 for iron or lead weights for that reason.

I saw a guy who filled the rear cone of a 710m with lead to add weight and keep it low - I think hat is a good idea.
