Post by TechMOGogy »

We live on the wrong side of the pond for our hobby!
712M for sale for CHF 5,700 = $6,500 US
Yes it needs some work but still!

And straight from the Army. Probably one of the rare chances left of being the first civilian owner of a gas-powered Pinz ;)

Any idea of what that is on the roof? A ladder of some type perhaps?

Ladder rack, loads from the front, slides under a retainer in the back and is somehow secured in the front by a mechanism controlled by that red handled lever.

The white stuff on the top that would be snow.

I was just looking into importing one, but couldn't find one at the right price from Europe.
A good importer will bring it over for about $4000, plus about $500 taxes, and another
$300 - $500 miscellaneous expense. Looks like a good deal.

I don't read or speak German. Google translate had this to say about the vehicle: the vehicle is not mobile.

I didn't translate any further after that. If it doesn't run who knows what else is wrong with it.

I wrote Switzerland about it. They wrote back. It is already sold. If you buy something from them you have to use your own importing agency.
