Full shop in attendance planned. Less tooling though.

]I have made plans to haul the whole shop out to Calico this year(in the Pinz). So this is a call out to anyone wanting pinz/mog accessories or repairs done. PM me here or at Fatfabrications@yahoo.com. The sooner I hear from you, the sooner I can get your stuff built or repair parts ordered. Our plan was a recreational visit but a need was expressed for work/accessories and gas money always helps. The clock starts now! See you soon.[

I really want that ladder for the G still. If I can't make the cash appear in time, maybe you can take enough measurements for later?

This design isn't too bad. Not sure why they added that extra vertical support though (not needed). I've seen some made that bolt right onto the metal above the tail light, or this design which seems more popular where there's a simple frame made around the tail light. Im not sure how the gutter bracket part is made.

I have that ladder!
If you want any pics or measurements let me know
The other vertical bar they say is 1. for extra strength and rigidity and 2. main one in my opinion esp after use - as a toe kick so your shoes/boots don’t hit the paint and scratch it
This design allows for mounting without drilling any holes which I like.
I would happily try to document this style ladder and buy one as well from Andre esp if we can integrate in rear tail light protectors (some horizontal bars) and then mimic just the frame and protectors for the pass side!
May be hard to make outside the shop!
Perhaps I ship it down to Texas so you have it on site!?!?

That's be great if we can work something out. Is that 1" round stock they used?

I like scratches. :)

Ok - I will keep the ladder here for now
I will check tubing size and post later tonight

How about some rock sliders - I like this design and should be pretty easy to fab (he says knowing full well he could never make them)
If the ends matched the angle of the fender flair they would look factory.

Thanks for checking on that.

I've seen the other the rock slider designs too but none of them look very good to me. They either hang down way too far and sort of defeat your ground clearance or, like that one, would promote rust pretty quickly if not cleaned and treated often. The G has a uniquely difficult issue when it comes to slider design. If I can ever get mine a decent paint job, I thought about having a shop just remake that body piece out of 3x thicker steel and replacing it... problem solved.

Although I've done a lot Moab trails, and others, and even cleared Elephant Hill on the last big trip and never hit my sides once so maybe its not that important anyway, at least on a SWB.

Andre,

OK, I give! Time for a winch mount -but- not so simple, I like my Brushguard
and would like you to take a look to see if it's possible to modify my guard for
a 9500 Superwinch with synthetic rope. Guard hoops are wide enough but a
cross bar may interfere.

FYI, guard fab'd with pipe not DOM with a 1.66" O.D.

Change of plans! Due too my current work schedule and the wait I have for parts and other components, I will be missing Mogfest. Instead I will be travelling to the PNW to do a driveline repair. This change in plans will keep work moving through the shop and enable me to attend the SWPA Treffen instead . Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused.
Thank you again for all your support.
