Hello to all
Below, you will find an announcement made to several mailing lists of likely candidates who may attend our annual gathering. The official announcement to the Unimog community at large also went out yesterday. I was left with the responsibility of inviting owners of and those otherwise interested in Volvo 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles. So read on. If someone can think of a catchy name for we Volvo enthusiasts (I like Terrang Gang from one of the Scandinavian 4x4 clubs), please let me know.

You are all invited to NorthWest MogFest 2007!

NWMF is one of the largest (the largest?) european offroad vehicle gatherings in North America. What started as a bench of unimog owners getting together in 2000 is now open to all off-road vehicles of european pedigree. NWMF07 will be held on August 16th through 19th in sunny Sheridan Oregon (about an hour southwest of Portland).

NWMF is not a typical off-road vehicle gathering, it is more like a family reunion for the odd and interesting people who enjoy these vehicles. There are almost no scheduled activities, instead we provide a 100 acre farm as a venue where you get to make your own fun. Onsite amenities do include camping areas, an off-road obstacle course, group meals, an outdoor DVD "theater", swimming in the Yamhill River, and other fun stuff...
