Would I be allowed to attend - my Pinz is a civilian one, although painted in desert yellow? Kent not too far from me, which makes a change! Not sure what days off I'll have but if possible I'm sure I could persuade my wife to camp...

Hi Spandit. You are more than welcome to come along, we're hoping to set up a small enclave of Pinzgauers, and War and Peace is something you should do once in your life :D :D Just suspend reality when you go through the gate. You can get an application form from the War & Peace web site, and if your truck is green or desert you'll get in. Cheers Nigel.

Right, a few questions to those going:

a) It says no vehicle's can leave before 6pm - is this an unbreakable rule as the wife is liable to get bored

b) If we are part of the display, would we be eligible for the 4x4 course run by Twickenham off-roaders?

c) We're thinking of going Friday morning and camping overnight to leave on Saturday - should we bring a BBQ?

Hi Spandit. You are supposed to stay till after six which is when the show closes to the public, but it's not strictly enforced so you can usually get out before. If you are camping on site you do have access to the off road site, it can be quite interesting :D :D There's no need to bring a BBQ, there are plenty of food stalls and lots of very sociable Pinzgauer nuts. See you there. Cheers Nigel.
