Haflingertreffen Nordamerika 2012

Post by Jim Molloy »

Hello to all.
It is never too early to start planning for a good time. Dust off your 2012 calendar's and highlight June 7th-10th. The Haflingertreffen Nordamerika is again returning to northern California. This time, we will be cruising in and around the Willow Creek area. Emilie and I will be doing some scouting of the area in the next couple of weeks and will provide an update. A link to the Will Creek Chamber of Commerce has been added to the Yahoo Groups Haflingertreffen Nordamerika site. I have it on good authroity that we will be guided by one of the local residents who happens to be past Haflingertreffen Nordamerika event participant.
Take care.

Hello to all.

I just wanted to rattle the cages a bit and remind folks that the third annual Haflingertreffen Nordamerika is now less than four short months away. Bruce T.C. will be our local guide in his stomping grounds. Options are available as far as accommodations in the area for those not planning to do the camping routine. In October, Emilie and I did scope out some of the motels and B&Bs in the area. They run the spectrum from functional to fancy. An excellent source of information is:

I know of several new Haflinger owners who anticipate attending this year's event. We will be bringing at least two or possibly three trucks ourselves. We may be looking at more than a dozen in attendance this year. More about the specific schedule of activities will be posted in the next couple of months.

Take care...one and all.
