2012 Mogfest BBQ reservation list

Post by David Dunn »

OK, this will be the list of attendees for the 2012 Calico Mogfest for the Saturday night BBQ from the Pinz and Haf community.
Contact me by either PM, email (dsd277 [at]yahoo[dot]com), or reply here with the number of people for the meals and a name. If you reply here, please delete your reply once you see your name on the list.

QTY----NAME
1--- Dave Dunn
1--- Jim LaGuardia
2---Andre Swanson
5--- Shuddhasatwa Bhattacharya & Co.
5---Glynn Sziraki
1---Jim Mettler
1---Vince Sweeney
4---joey makabenta
Saturday night (10-13) BBQ will be $12 per person and the plan is to have a pot luck Friday night. There won't be any other charges other than people paying for their own campsite.

The spaces we reserved are all in my name so they need to call the KOA to make reservations. Donna is the only one there that knows what's going on and she is gone till Tuesday. The other two are clueless!

Tell the guys not to get frustrated dealing with the KOA!

The cutoff date is this Friday to RSVP for the BBQ. It is being catered by the same people as the last Mogfests at Calico

So if you don't RSVP.. Starve Sucker !

And as a sidenote, I can deliver tinted glass sets or windshields on Saturday, if anyone wants to order.

From Joe
We are one week away... Well if your getting there Wednesday night like me!

Here is the latest list. We are calling Friday the cut off day for the BBQ so let me know or you'll be sitting on the sidelines drooling :)

Don't forget the Friday night potluck. I'll bring the turkey fryer again and fry up a bird. Bring your favorite dishes to pass around. Last years potluck was amazing. Who knew so many folks that like to wrench on old military vehicles could also cook! :)

Got old junk to sell of trade, bring that too! you never know what someone else might be interested in and will give you more room in the garage for some new junk :)

Crazy hat night Saturday night after the BBQ dinner!

We'll lead an average difficulty trial Friday morning-ish 8-9am (we all driving Unimogs, Pinguaers and such so really, what is difficult?)...

Saturday we'll lead two separate runs, an easier (for the big dogs) and a harder (for the more nimble) and meet up for lunch at the top of the hill.
We'll hopefully be leaving camp around 8-9am.

For the crawler crowd we'll spend the rest of the time finding stuff to get into trouble in! :)

The cutoff was last Friday. But I have received calls from people that that wanted to sign up for the BBQ. As I had told them, there was enough in the past for all, but it didn't mean show up and expect to get food!

I just got off the phone with Alan who will call the caterer and try to add 10 to the count. Not that many have ask, but the number has always swelled in the past for people "just" showing up.
If you haven't spoken to me already, email me with your name and count so I can get you added on the list.

BTW Alan says the weather is beautiful at Calico... reminds me of last year's Mogfest, cold, rainy in LA and wonderful weather at Salton Sea.
