Overland Expo 2013 in Flagstaff AZ [PHOTOS]

Post by Mr Zero »

Overland Expo.2013
Flagstaff, AZ
May 17-19, 2013

I'll be attending again all 3 days (will probably arrive 05/16). There's also a good chance that we'll travel partially overland on the way in via the Wickenburg-Crown King-Prescott-Jerome-Flagstaff route.

Anyone else here plan to attend? Interested in back-roading it?

I may be into it this time, in the G-wagen, assuming I can afford the fuel at that time. Coming from SoCal.

putting a trip together from Phoenix. I wanted to do northern AZ and end up in Flagstaff for the return trip home. More than likely taking a week to see the sites.

I will be there all 3 days. Leaving on the 15 so I wont be in a rush. I did the Wickenburg-Crown King-Prescott-Jerome-Flagstaff route on the way home last year and it was a blast!

Giving any thought to running it again this year? To or from?

Excellent! I'm thinking it could be fun to caravan to and/or from OX with some other Pinzies. I'm also looking to get in a little more trail time in the area around Mormon Lake during the expo this year.

I am planning a trip to Moab around this time so I doubt I will be able to make it. This looks like a great time though and something to consider for another year.

talked about this at the monthly SWPA meeting.

Is there any interest in the South West Pinzgauers putting together a trip for a group coming in from out of town?

As we are familiar with the trails it would not be difficult for the SWPA to facilitate trail leaders and plan an open route to the Expo.

Speak up if this is something should start planning for. This includes you local guys too.

It would be nice to know if there is something of interest that people would like to see or a particular area that would like to be visited.

lets hear your thoughts

Be good if you would show us out-of-towners some of your turf.

If things work out here money wise, I may make the trip out from Tx. in my pinz. Let me know if there is anything I can fab and bring to the event. Bernard was thinking of the extended range tank and guard at Mogfest.
