The tan guard with the extra storage below the jerry can was designed for use with 710 and 712 pinzgauers. I charge $780 with semigloss black powder coating. They mount on the existing truck hangers and have an access hole for the drain plug on the stock tank.

Custom colors such as RAL 6014,7013 etc. will cost extra. I can build them while I am on tour or when I return home. Current return date is Feb.14

PM me for payment and lead time.

Almost made it all the way through New Mexico last night. I took US 70 down from Amarillo to Las Cruces then got on the I 10. We shut down in Demming and camped in the Wal Mart parking lot. Currently in Tucson and expect to spend the night in Phoenix. We're daydreaming of going Las Vegas for the antique motorcycle auction. I may talk myself into it.

Are you referring to the auction at South Point Casino, the one we went to twice? I would recommend that to everyone!

Yes. Saw a very rare '57 Honda dream 250. black and chrome like they should be. there was a Swiss Condor scout bike that sold for $3200.(wasn't as clean as the one I sold)

I found out that my old shipmate moved to Kingman, Az. and that was all the reason I needed to make the run to the bike show. I did take a picture or two but haven't loaded them to the laptop yet.

I got into Ca. Saturday evening and almost camped out at the top of the Kelso grade In the Mojave preserve. It was dark when I rolled in and didn't pack any firewood so we continued on. I spent the night in Cathedral City with a good friend and left the next morning to confirm use of my old sheet metal shop and meet up with another buddy for lunch.

I ended up camping in the windy city of San Bernardino at Goatwerks.

Since the wind had incapacitated my production, it creates a new opportunity for those seeking goods.
Here is my list so far:
-One set of steel tube rub rails(dipping below the door) for a 710m(deposit received)
-One Sheet steel hard top, removable sides and rear door and panel for a 710M(deposit recieved)
-One steel extended range fuel cell(for myself so far, possibly others but no deposits made)
-One rear cargo rack hinge repair/replace(warranty after 4 years)
-One, three point, steel tube, roof rack for a 710m(deposit recieved)
-One Onan generator wire and plumb.
-One list of things for a Volvo 404 that lurks about this forum.(NDR)

Other possible work:
-One tank guard with additional storage below the jerry can(NDM)
-One tool/battery box guard(NDM)
-Additional extended range fuel cells(NDM)

Today my plan was to purchase ALLmaterials needed to complete the jobs commissioned.
I am pushing that back 2 more days to ensure those who want work done, get work done. That is providing Deposit arrangements are being made. This also gives me a day to service the Pinzgauer after the trip from TX.

Pinzgauer status:

Ran great the whole way. An oil leak at the oil cooler made itself known as my entire passenger side under carriage has a film of oil/dust all the way to the mud flap. I was loosing about a quart every 700 miles. That repair will be done today when and if the wind dies down.

Ran about 60mph at a fuel consumption of 10-11 mpg fully loaded(only 1 mph difference from empty).

Pinz runs like a raped ape since I unloaded the Ranger 8 welder and that PTO winch. I think I will be leaving the generator here at Goatwerks as I rarely use it since moving to my new shop. I don't do enough field work to need it so if anyone is interested, PM me.

Now were getting down to business. I just spent the day getting $1400 in materials and hardware today. Tomorrow I hit the ground running and get some work done. Spent the evening with family friends doing a birthday party for Anthony. Then back to Jim's to be ready to turn two and get hot in the morning.

Andre you most likely already know of these hole finders and they may not work for your applications, however in case you've never seen them.. i frequently had use for them when I worked on aircraft structures. They make it fast and easy to insure mounting holes like on those side rails are in the correct place, they eliminate the educated guess work. :)
