There are 2 Thrust washers #8 (700 143 0432) that go on #2 pin
Mine have rubber on them (seems like an attached flat rubber) but wondering if it is just the o-rings #7 or if #8 came with rubber attached to it (the lower #8 looks to possibly have rubber on it but that is just a drawing)?
Pretty specific if you don't have it (or had it apart).
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Steering - Thrust washer
Dan,
Pretty sure the rubber comes attached to the rings. It's been a few years since I've done that job, but I do recall that the thrust rings had rubber on them.
Cheers,
Sandy

Re: Steering - Thrust washer
They have a rubber seal on them to A; Keep the mud and Yuk out of the bearing and B: to keep the grease in the bearing.
So yes they are correct like that.

Re: Steering - Thrust washer
I talked (via email) to John at HaflingerTek and he said the new kits they sell replace the metal and rubber with plastic thrust washers.
I just looked at mine yesterday and they definately have a thin rubber coating on them
Thanks
