So what is the estimated HP you will end up with 30ish?

I am sure he will provide me the dyno sheets from this weekend, we shall see. Honestly if it got 5 hp more and associated tork, I would be elated.
My biggest thing is the reduced engine temps, and the full power at an RPM that won't prematurly kill the engine.

28hp was the final number.
So a bit of a boost, but definatly not enough that will get me in trouble.
One of the mods to the engine he made addresses the oil pressure issues that are inharent to these motors. Aperently it boosts the at idle pressure up to over 40 psi.
It was designed, and blue printed out to 7200 rpm, though the governer will keep her under 4600.

Last night I only had about 40 minutes to work in the garage, and Tuesday I ended up at work for 17 hours. Kills me to have a project like this so close but no time to finish it up.
Last night I cleaned up and connected all the wiring and replaced the fuel line. wanted to work on the exaust but I had spilled a bit of gas under the truck and chose to stop.
To test my wiring and push fuel through the line I pumped the pedal a few times and hit start, within 2 secounds it fired up for the first time. W/O the exaust connected I imediatly shut her off. Wow that thing was loud and I was shocked that it started up so quickly. Looks like Leo had her ready to go when he crated it.
Barring a callout tonight from work, I am hoping to finish her up tonight. Otherwise it will not be till Sunday night before I will be able to work on it again.

Rear seats is on my list of things to do as well over the next few weeks. I have a damaged Hafi tarp I am going to provide as fabric for them.

Those are the correct maloyas that would have came on the truck. I am tempted to mount them but really would like a spare set of rims for them. I actually have 2 of the needed rims already.

Bernd Sahler, Glad to see you on here!
For those interested, Bernd's wife was the one that made my rear cover.
She did a great job and the price was reasonable.

Bernd, please consider making an introduction post and share some of your photos, you have a VERY nice truck!
