Haflingers in Nevada

Anyone register a Haflinger in Nevada? When I bought my first Pinz I had to register it as a Mercedes 710M. My second one was registered as a Pinzgauer. I am thinking of getting a Haflinger and was wondering what hoops I will have to endure to drive it. I got pulled over once in my 1st Pinz and the cop pulled his gun on me because my plate showed up as a Mercedes.

Thanks
Greg

Never thought Nevada would be soooo strict! Afterall, what happens in.................. Perhaps a trip to the boneyard for some Merc emblems would be in order, toys should stay in holsters and saved for that "special occasion". :)

i'm looking at Scott's place tomorrow. I'll ask him then. Once I showed the office the ID plate with the Diamler name on it he was ok.
Thanks
Greg

Greg,
While I still have issues with one DMV official declaring that our two Haflinger Polycab trucks are ATVs and should not be licensed for use on the street, Oregon DMV has put together a very useful tool relating to vehicle manufacturers. Perhaps Nevada has something similar.

Hope you find this helpful.
Take care.
