Mayola Tire Diameter

Post by TechMOGogy »

I know a few people have Mayola's (Shawn I know you have a new set) - would someone mind measuring the overall diameter for me.
I only have 1 and it is worn bald - not sure how deep the treads were when new.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
The Maloyas are 22-1/2" (573mm) diameter. This is (near as I can tell) the same as a barely used original Semperit Universal Grip tire that I have.
Cheers,
Steve

THX!
ps - keep those babies in good shape as you can't get Mayola's anymore (company that was making them just sold to some company in India which will probably = cheap rubber and lower quality if they keep producing them)!
